A city centre action plan for Herefordshire Council, focused on improving the look, offer and perception of Hereford. The work brought together residents, businesses, cultural stakeholders and existing strategy to understand how the city centre was functioning, what was missing and where practical opportunities existed to strengthen footfall, identity and civic confidence.
The result was a place-based action plan shaped by evidence, cultural alignment and wide-ranging stakeholder input. More importantly, it showed how research and engagement can be turned into clear recommendations that strengthen identity, activity and civic confidence.
